i more and more think that they where very focused on making a workstation ala triton elektron style and not a hybrid setup thing at all. it also hinted in the name. its just so close to a centerpiece for a setup to make you wish it had more inputs and timestrech. so it very possible lots of the things people wish like more usb in channels and timestrech wont come later.
