Is the A4 MIDI external control sequencer mono?

hey, is it normal that when i play an external device via the A4 with MIDI, the notes or steps stop if one plays after them, like with a monophonic sequencer!?

the A4 with its own sounds gives you the option of assigning ROTATE and VOICES, then you can play four notes on top of each other. But I didn’t find any solution here.

I send midi from the fx and cv Tracks, doesnt Seem mono to me

I’ve already tried that, but unfortunately it stops here too. even if I e.g. use cv for a pad and over it with fx another, it stops.

The CV track is mono, it doesn’t support polyphony over CV so polyphonic midi recording is disabled.

But the FX track as the other poster said, records polyphony.

Don’t ask me how many hours it took me to figure this out

Midi chords can be set up, but you cannot have overlapping trig/notes on the Elektron sequencer

So a 4 note chord will be cut off by a single note placed after it on one track…

How the midi receiving device responds to this is a different issue
