Is live playback of internal resampling possible?

Hi guys,

I want to resample an internal track and play it back simultaneously.
Here is what I do:

  • 16 step length
  • recording menu
    • recording length 16
    • no A B / C D
    • src3 set to T1 (since I want to resample it)
  • record trigger on step 1
  • play trigger on step 1

The resampling works, but the playback is 16 steps delayed. When I do the same, but record A B instead of an internal track, the playback is live.

Is this a limitation of internal resampling or am I using it in a wrong way?

The same time recording/playback is only available for the inputs, a src3 setting besides - will trig the sound recorded from the previous trig… :aw:

Bit finicky but if you really wanted you could cue the track, and route the cue outputs back into some inputs…
You could also try nudging the playback trig a microtiming step forward…

@Open_Mike Oups sorry I missed the end of your answer !

There’s a solution for SCR3 : microtiming.
Add some microsteps to Recording play Trigs or
Reduce some microsteps from Rec Trigs

Disable Time Stretch too.

Yeah, microtiming much simpler, but may have more phase offset…

Yep. There are other things to avoid :
Pitch up and reverse at the begining of playback.

Microtiming works like a charm. Thanks again.
