Well the title blows the question away, but i wonder if i can set the playback to the current 16 steps, i have selected on the page knob.
Ok, i am a new Analog 4 user, got it since Saturday, and i already loving it, its so much fun, such a well thought out interface. I also would wish that the modulation destination popup was a bit slower, but besides that , its a real good design done. Now i must have an analog rytm
Not quite sure what you mean.
If you just want to only play back 16 steps then you would set the scale to 16 and the time signature to 1x in the scale menu. (Function + Page buttons).
Yes the A4 and the Rytm are fantastic sounding machines lots of fun to play with.
He means to play 16-steps in a middle or end page, eg play only the steps in page 2, 3, or 4, so you can fine tune your pattern. This can’t be done without going into song mode, or copying and pasting your middle page into a new single page pattern, neither of which is that good a workaround.
This is one of the commonly asked for improvements in the Elektron sequencer. All Elekrons suffer from the same lack of page focus in the sequencer.
Ah yeah. Dam that would be a nice feature. Doesn’t seem like it would be such a big deal to add.
Exactly that was the question, i wonderd also why the current step was overwritten, when i went back and forth with the page button (lengthen and shorten the pattern) thanks for the tipp
