i’ve got a couple synths that don’t receive cc message like the ms . is there a way to send an lfo to non compatible external stuff?
What do you mean by “non compatible”? Not MIDI-compatable?
What version of MS20. Vintage, FS or mini?
If Vintage then this is the way to go.

So just to confirm, you have a Berhinger K2 or K1 or whatever their MS20 copy is called.
Not an MS20.
If this is correct you probably need a midi to cv converter.

K-2 (I’m assuming what you mean) has a MIDI input right up front. Use that!

There’s no modwheel output on the patchbay unfortunately. This might have been an MS20 mini trick.

What synths do you actually have? We can help you a lot more if we know that.
It seems your thread title says you have a digitone and MS20, yet later in the thread you don’t.
Some synths might have midi inputs, but dont actually offer full midi compliance, maybe just notes and gates. If this is the case, and the synth has cv inputs, you’ll need some sort of midi to cv converter to convert the Digitone midi LFO into control voltage.
Oh damn guess I forgot behringer didn’t put the mod wheel out. I have an original 80’s one. I do have a bs20 that I use as a midi/hz converter and slave to the OG for super fatness and extra envelopes and lfos but haven’t used it in a while.

I was digitone 1 and an ms20 mini.
my current dawless rig is,
elektron: Digitone 2, Analog rytm 2
moog: M32 and dfam
korg: minilogue xd
behringer: deepmind 12, wasp, pro800, pro1 , k2
Roland JP08 .
sorry I thought the midi implementation of the ms20m and the k2 was the same.
I’m trying to get lfos from my Digitone 2 to my semi modulars that can’t receive cc messages etc.

Can recommend a CV.OCD midi to CV converter.
Plenty of outputs to expand possibilities!

I think you could use the ASSIGN output on the Mother-32 to convert the Digitone’s MIDI to CV.
I don’t have a Digitone, but I’m assuming you can use the LFO to modulate MIDI CC. (And now I want one).
