Is it Possible to Input MIDI Seq by Playing in Chromatic Mode?

Hi, I’m drowning in the manual, I’m sure I must have missed this part:

Instead of manually inputing trigs on MIDI tracks, is it possible to input the trigs by playing them when in chromatic mode?

Hit PLAY + RECORD, recording LED will flash, play (and thus record) your sequence. Works better with an external Midi controller (within the limits of the OT) and you may want to read up on quantization options.
