Is it possible to design a sound of OUD using digitone 2?

This machine is powerful, was wondering if it is possible to get close to a sound of OUD, should I use the MF tone or wavetone for this?

I made an Oudish patch, can be improved. Comb Filter +.
Have to find it…

Noise + Comb Filters

It’s crazy how advanced the DN2 is compared to the old DN.

I don’t think it’s a quantum leap, some completely new paradigm. It’s a solid advance, mostly more of the same, but with a host of small additions that add up to something substantial. The comb filter is one of these. What it creates from almost nothing is surprising, but I think of limited (yet satisfying) scope. Since it was much harder to make those sounds before (if it was even possible at all), this is important, and I admit it was a big selling point for me, but it only advanced my purchase by a few weeks, because I’m a DN fan and would have gotten DN2 eventually, anyway.

C’est vraiment très réussi !
Quand j’entends le nombre de sons incroyables conçus avec ce filtre en peigne ça donne envie de craquer pour un Dn2.
Y’a d’autres machines qui ont ce type de filtre à part DT2/ DN2 ?

DT2 has Comb -, not Comb +, which is better for this kind of strings sounds. Hopping it will have Comb + asap.
Blofeld, Microfreak, Minifreak…
Octatrack also have Comb filters, +/-, but DN2 ones sounds better for that purpose, and it has several pre/post filtering options that suits pretty well this kind of synthesis.

Anouar Brahem can retire
For real, it’s awesome. Can you share the patch?
