Is it possible? Digitone + RYTM + Keyboard USB to Computer

Hey all,

I did some searching in the forum and couldn’t find any topics on this, so forgive me if one already exists. Basically I would like to validate whether the following configuration is possible with overbridge:

RYTM Mk2 -> Computer via USB
Digitone -> Computer via USB
Keyboard controller -> Computer via USB

I would like for the RYTM to be the source of the clock to Sync the Digitone, and I would like for the keyboard to control the Digitone. Is this possible using the computer/overbridge as a hub?

I’ve done some trial and error and cant seem to get it to work. Any help would be really appreciated!

Welcome… there are a few ways you could do it
you could just use overbridge to clock both Rytm & digitone and have everything routed through your daw… or you could plug the keyboard directly into the digitone

is there a reason you want the Rytm to be the master?
Overbridge has a excellent clock more stable than regular midi

Actually I dont mind overbridge being the source of the clock. Would I just set both the RYTM and digitone to “clock receive”?

The issue with the keyboard is that it has no midi out (only USB).

The clock is handled by the plugins you don’t have to set anything just put the plugins in your daw and they should sync
Then You can just route the keyboard in your daw to the overbridge plugin or the the midi channels

This is partially true because, by default, the Elektron plug-ins are set to Clock+Transport but when you load the plug-ins, you have the following options : No sync, Clock or Clock+Transport.

So I’ve got the Digitone and Rytm synched, but can’t seem to be able to route the keyboard to the Digitone

What daw are you using? Just route the midi keyboard to the digitone plugin

I’m using logic Pro X. Went into the midi environent window. Created an object for the digitone and for the keybaord, and connected them. No luck

Ahh ok, I use ableton so honestly not sure how to set that up… someone else might know
