I have a problem with my monomachine that is somewhat difficult to reproduce. It happens frequently enough that I thought I would mention it here to see if anyone else has this problem.
What happens is when I’m playing the monomachine trigs like a keyboard and release the key, a completely different note will sound briefly. It doesn’t matter what trig I hit either. It will always play the same sustained note during the release phase.
At first I thought it was from an effect like delay or one of the FX tracks but this doesn’t seem to be the case. Power cycling the mono always fixes it which makes me think it’s a software bug instead of hardware related.
Has anyone else had this happen? I’m running the latest OS (1.32b) on my Mk2.
Yes, it’s happened to me. Haven’t had time to investigate it (despite making a mental note to do so every time) … I notice it happens when playing directly on the trig buttons as well.
if it’s SID machines you’re using than i would also check the MSRC parameter, i’m not sure this it is directly related to this issue, perhaps you’re triggering another track(s)
I’ve seen it happen, using midi input to trig notes, it can happen with other machines than SID as I was using DIGI & Superwave machines when I faced that issue.
