Strange one I guess.
Android user here, and the Mrs has finally decided to leave the embrace of the apple ecosystem, to join android.
Her new phone arrived a couple of days ago and she’s being offered £9 by music magpie, and has asked if I want it.
So the question is- are ther any decent music creation apps that would still work on this phone?
I know zilch about Apple phones.
I have ordered the OT MK2 and an OP-1 ,so I’m hoping to use this phone in conjunction with these two in some way.
I guess I could just keep it for YouTube sample fodder if nothing else.
Cheers.
I would go animoog
EDIT : Animoog is IOS 8.2 minimum now…
Sample YouTube of course, and every Radio app like Tunein etc… Spotify, tidal…

Ooh I’d forgotten that as released on iOS.
I’ll need to see if it’s compatible, and if it is I’ll be happy as a pig in poo

iPhone models that do not work with iOS 8:
Apple iPhone 4
is it iPhone4 or 4S ?
IOS 8 for them :
CASSINI, Magellan
iOS 7 for this one (it’s a very good synth)
NLOG mini too
So I have a iPad2 on ios6. I’m mentioning this because I recently found out that the lowest iOS to register a device to the App Store is ios8. Not sure how long this has been in effect for.

They always try to push people …
Ah damn. Yeah it’s a standard 4 I think.
Nlog looks interesting though!
Thanks for the heads up. Maybe I’ll use it for basic video editing or something then.
TweakyBeat?
Best free thing I’ve ever received ignoring oxygen…

Cool, I shall check that and see if it’s compatible.
I had it on my 3GS until a year ago and it was plastic acid bulletproof, think at gun point after Sector (iPad though) it’s the best fun thing ever.
Oh yeah, PS, got it on my 8 now so…

Sweet. That’s good to hear. I’m hoping I’m not going o find it too useful on the studio, to prevent myself from then thinking I need an iPad!
