IPAD: best app to sequence via midi out

I’ve added my Ipad pro to my live setup and I want to use it as a sequencer for my hardware synth.

What is the best app to send sequences via midi out to my hardware synths?
It must have ableton link and midi out.

Finally I purchased GENOME and it’s very easy to use.

For MIDI sequencing, a lot of love seems to go to (in no particular order)

  • Cubasis
  • Modstep
  • Genome
  • Beatmaker

this based on what I’ve read online & my own experiences. YMMV
