I have to travel for work therefore I can’t bring my Monomachine with me.
I was wondering if you guys knew any iOs app for iPad/iPhone that you believe can let me emulate my old favourite Monomachine synths… (I know it’s hard…)

Never owned a Monomachine, but trying to emulate some of its sound engines could be worthwhile.
Can you P-lock different synth engines per step? That would be limited in Drambo.

You can p-lock most things in Drambo, but if not, you can just add more tracks.
Sure, but you can’t p-lock module swaps. If you want to p-lock different sound engines per step, you’d have to use another track. As I said I don’t know if this is possible on the MNM, e’g, can u p-lock /swap an FM+ engine for, say DigiPro on the same track?
Perhaps you could run several modules on the same track, send them to a mixer/switcher module, and p-lock the mixer…

What do you mean with p-lock? locking out parameters in the sequencer? I was more concerned about the synth power
The Drambo sequencer is the closest by far to an Elektron sequencer in iOS.
If you’re not using p-locks on your MNM you’re missing a lot of the magic!
As for emulating MNM synth engines, there are many apps which could get you in the ballpark of the specific engines. Which synth engine(s) do you want to emulate?

On the p-locking and sound-changes-per-step side, you should try a tracker like SunVox. That is exactly what it does.

Obviously I use p-locks and the Elektron sequencer. The thing is that I use to sequence my MnM using ableton or the Digitakt, so my main lack is now to find a good sound.
Well, the crunch/dirty ones! 
After spending lots of time in ‘patterning’ I decided it was time to buy my first Elektron. Not that similar apart from being able to squeeze lots of variation out of a 1 bar loop which is something I really appreciate.
I’ve had a crack at patching up the SWAVE-SAW machine. I’m sure it sounds nothing like the MNM. Work in progress. See here
