@Tamiko You may want to check the elk-herd thread. Elk-herd supports DT1, the recent beta supports DT2, but I have no idea of the implications of the different project formats on your particular problem
.
Thank you, I will.
Can someone give me a clue what the STRETCH machine effect is for?
Iāve never had any success with it, sounds bad on melodic sequences, mostly sounds bad on drums (other than really busy DnB breaks)
Same experience, I donāt understand any of the machines besides one shot and grid. The other ones are only interesting if you place trigs and play around with random trig locks though.
Hi everyoneā¦
So i am fully excited to be able to get the DT again after selling it before some months⦠My thing is that i want all my previous projects to work. I heard that DT2 is backwords compatibleā¦but i am curious on how it will workā¦
I have a backup of my projects and soundsā¦but if they are placed in different order how is it going to work? do you understand what i mean? sorry for my englishā¦
Great video!
Fucksake Joey.
Might be my favorite BR video. Great job
i concur with the title.
Unpopular opinion: The Digitakt 2 Reverb is boring and flat (compared to AR and A4)
Iām serious, there is absolutely no life and character in the DT2 reverb. After working with the A4 for the last couple of months I came back to the DT2 and first thought the sends to the reverb were broken. But it wasnāt. Thatās the reverb. It so obvious to me now I canāt unsee/hear it. I ran the DT2 through the A4ās external mixer circuit opened the reverb and WOW!!! Thatās a reverb.
The best Reverb on any Elektron is the Plate Reverb on Octatrack!
Iām sold. DT2 ordered.
I feel like this is related to how stereo samples interact with the reverb. I felt the same way about dt2 reverb but after the update and sending newly recorded mono samples it has the sense of space and quality I appreciated about dt1.
I thought that all elektron devices except the Octatrack used the same reverb algorithm, and that there was some statement (which I donāt have time to look for right now) corroborating that information?
I would guess from experience using other devices that stereo samples do in fact have some degree of different inflection than mono samples when processed through the reverb, but Iām not informed enough to say for sure if thatās the case here.
Thought the same. I think @Ess confirmed that at one point somewhere, but am not sure.
Even the dn2 Reverb seems a bit flat to me like in the dt2, while yesterday I made a small track with the latest soundpack for the Syntakt and I was able to appreciate it again, definitely more present.
You canāt go wrong mate I love mine ![]()
You always make the best videos mate 100% ![]()
I got the trio, Digitakt2 - Digitone2 - Syntakt⦠need to explore them more and just make Techno
Maybe you forgot routing it into the comp?
