Big fan of his. So humble and talented. videos like that never get old. :joy:

I’ve heard him say so many great things about the OT over the years; I actually learned about the OT from an old Elektron Talk with Cortini. I’ve been curious for so long to see exactly how he uses it. He’s described how he used it with Nine Inch Nails in another Sonic State vid, and gave a very brief description of using it to make songs with short Buchla samples in the Elektron Talk. But I have yet to see him in action with only the OT (I guess I’ve technically seen him using with NIN a few times). I was really hoping to finally see how he uses the OT like he did with the EMS and Buchla units. Maybe it’s better to be left a mystery… Oh well. Still an excellent conversation. Cortini has always come off as such a kind, enthusiastic, and intelligent musician; this interview is no exception.

I loved checking out some of his gear, I am a fan of Alessandro.

BUT, I must say that Frank the Cat is the coolest part if that video.

and here’s part II

Great to see the hands on aspect in this interview!

I wish Elektron Talk was via video’s because reading is a bit boring when talking about machines that produce sound! Also, I have already forgotten about the interview from Elektron Talk with Alessandro. When reading various interviews it’s more like bla bla bla if they talk about tools that you use for yourself. Seeing someone in practice on those instrument is way more exiting!

Hey what do we see here. Alessandro use the Waldorf Quantum for his new album instead of the Octatrack it seems, thats interesting.

I didn’t read that the Octatrack wasn’t used, but it’s interesting to see these 3 big boys up the Quantum.
