Interesting online radio stations with focus on electronic/experimental music

Great thread! Jumped on to suggest intergalactic fm but it’s already in the OP. Some awesome recommendations here and many I’ve not heard of so keen to get exploring - thanks!

Beloved Radio, based in Chicago, has drawn comparisons to NTS and Dublab in local publications. They’ve only been around a year, but doing some cool stuff focusing on musician- and artist-curated shows rather than strictly DJs.

Similar to this one but it lets you pick a country and decade then it plays you music based on those selections:

I love Radio Garden!! I started listening to it in a browser years ago, and recently realized the mobile app is really good too. A lot of the stations mentioned in the thread are available in RG

I’m still waiting for a Current Sounds radio or an Elektronauts radio.

Repeater Radio, especially since I host a fortnightly series of sessions there.

This is a great idea. I’d definitely listen to more of the content uploaded by users here if I didn’t have to press play and stop for each uploaded track… Must be possible to implement some kind of scraping of the uploads into a randomized playlist?

Thanks @maquinitas_es for starting this thread, I had the exact same idea couple of months ago.
Some great suggestions, LYL Radio didn’t disappoint and I’m a regular listener and formerly supporter of NTS.

I love radiogarden. Rife with sample ready material also. There is also a radio plugin creatively named “radio” that Scanner clued me into.

The Modulisme section of Modular Station has some fantastic sessions and interviews from legends on the scene.

Disclosure

I also publish alternate but related interviews about some of the Modulisme sessions elsewhere.

This is an absolute goldmine. Cheers for this
Maybe an idea to write some keywords behind the different stations?

Huge shoutout to @d4ydream for suggesting Radioooooo.

The sample fodder that I’ve gotten from this station is incredible. A huge feature that I like is that it starts each new country/time period from the start of the song, so you have the opportunity to get some great instrumental intros each and every click.

If you’re feeling stuck with your samples, I highly suggest checking out Radiooooo.

Out of interest are there any Brits using Radio Garden?
I loved it but suddenly they blocked content for UK users…wondered if it had returned and was functioning again?
