Wow! I thought I didn’t have to get into modular… This looks and sounds fantastic. From the demos I think it sounds more clear and full than Tempera.
And a line of condiments called Intellijelly.
I see what you did there ![]()
When you enter into the ‘Mod’ assignment modes, the LEDs under each parameter indicate mod depth and, I believe, polarity(different color).
Does this have midi at all?
I was referring only to my difficulty in deconstructing a patch I’m listening to in a demo. I’m sure that the mod assignment pages are sensibly usable.
no
Bummer.
Man I would love it if they released this as a standalone unit with midi, like they did with the Metropolix.
Hardware granular is like the one hole in my setup, and this is really doing it for me. Just loving the way this thing processes sound in a way that I haven’t heard in other stuff. Current hardware granular options that I’ve been considering are also a bit pricey (GR-1, S4, etc.). This thing standalone, with midi, at like $500-$700 would be an instabuy!
You could get the intellijel midi converter and this and a 4ms pod for close to 700 if you get the other two used?
I got the multigrain on day one, it’s phenomenal.
Do you think it could be compared to instruo arbhar?
Lot of capabilities induce lot of work to catch all the button combos and all the things one button or potentiometer can do… ![]()
Edit : but sounds good
Does this let me granulate live external inputs?
I look for a hsrdware solution to use granular on my digis when performing.
You can sample live and assign to Sounds without interrupting playback (it’s a sampler).
Live Buffer processing is coming in one of the next updates
“Live Buffer processing is coming in one of the next updates“
This is great news!
Whoa. I’m so glad I managed to grab one of these this week.
Very nice! I imagine you can kind of do sound on sound looper jams now?
it’s not a looper in the technical sense, but yeah plays grains from a Looping Recorder with a Rec/Freeze toggle (CVable)
