Hi guys. It’s pretty obvious to me I’ve got either gas or an elektron fetish… or both. Probably both. Well I have both.
At the moment my setup consists of the OT,AR&DN, OT is the brain. these are intwind in a setup along with a patchbay and 6 of my favourite external fx and an AH into a focusrite 18i20 > MPC live>pc for duty.
I’m getting to the point where I’d like to simplify (where possible) the setup while adding an A4.
Here’s what I was thinking… and scratching my head.
I was thinking it would be nice if the OT had more I/o options for sure but hey limits keep things in order not necessarily simpler.
In the ideal world I’d like to feed the AR,DN&A4 into the OT. Cull the mpc as that is in part funding the A4. So I’m saying so I could run the Analogs into a single inport on the OT and DN in stereo. This seems most logical to me. Loosing out on a bunch of effect potential across the analogs but I prefer my drum machines summed on one channel always have so I’m not so concerned about the AR but. But. Scratch scratch scratch.
