if you write about this (https://soundcloud.com/conformance/liveradio666), yes, it’s all live jammin, no dj stuff here, except the pioneer which we didn’t use in the end. I’m the one with the hardware stuff (octatrack, tb3, korgs) and my friend is more of a software guy (maschine, ableton).

Having spent some more time in this recording and with that gear picture in mind I can now imagine how it was created. I can now also spot the raw edges that are typical for live sets, but I still like it a lot or maybe even more because you confirmed that it’s a live set. On the other hand the complexity of sounds and layers is quite high, maybe also because you’re two guys! You still don’t overdo things, good job.

Reminds me of our live sets but with different style and sounding different of course because it was created by different guys with a different set of gear. My friends told me that we should post more tracks instead of live sets because nobody has the patience to listen or click through a 40+ minutes recording, but I like live sets much more. It’s about the overall flow.

Yes, being our third rehearsal (yes, we do rehearsal on air for the added pressure :-P) there’s a lot of room for improvements. I’ve been a dj for 20 years and I must say that playing with machines is a lot more fun than playing with 2 decks and a mixer.
