This is on A4 mk1 v1.52
Hit FN+Kit, then select PERFORMANCE in the Kit menu.
I can not go back to the Kit menu from here again.
Clicking No, does not let me go back to the Kit menu.
Infact I can not get to the Kit menu any other way unless I restart A4.
Even going into any other menu such as global still does not let me to go back to the Kit menu again with Function+Kit, it still goes to the PERFORMANCE.
I recently upgraded to 1.52. Is it due to 1.52?
Is this a known bug or am I doing something wrong?

ok I found what the problem is
it is this wood side panel that I installed.
I removed it and it is fixed now.
So strange, it was working fine on my Machinedrum.
If the screws are too long you can short the chassis to the pcb
There’s a few topics on this wrt upper limits of machine-screw penetration into the chassis space
Easy test is to push a cocktail stick in until it stops and work backwards from there with all the other dimensions

My printboard (PCB) suffered severe damage since I’ve place the Analog Four in a rack. The holes where you screw in the screws are so close to the the PCB that they’ve touched the PCB.
As you problebly can understand I’m very sad with this situation: the analog isn’t working anymore and I’ve lost my reportoire.
I’m really surprised that the holes are manufactured so close to the PCB, while there is space left a few inches further. Further, in the manual is not a single warning that a…

@avantronica thanks a lot for the information you shared.
Following your post, I checked my A4’s board and it had similar damage too.
However, I checked all functions and it didn’t require any repair.
So I insulated the exposed copper with nail polish.
Apparently all screws cause damage to the board but only the left bottom one is the most critical, near the label S1.
Thanks again.
