Inside Signal Sounds: A conversation about synths/electronic communities etc

About a year ago I was filming for this mini documentary I put together on the emerging Glasgow electronic scene, and sat down for a chat with Jason Brunton of Signal Sounds - a shop that many of us know and love.

As it turns out, I only used a small portion of that for the documentary, and recently came across the footage of the whole conversation, which spanned synthesizers, modular beginnings, underground scenes, and streaming services. It was interesting enough that I thought it should really see the light of day, so I’ve slapped it together and uploaded here:

Anybody interested in the industry/logistics of being an independent artist might find this worth a watch. Hope ya like!

Oh and I guess I should share the OG documentary as well for context:

Thanks for this! The second angle was just fine. I appreciated the original doc when you released it but I also really liked this in-depth conversation, much here that is universal even though it is centred on a specific scene. I am overdue to visit and learn more about what is happening in your neck of the woods.
