Hey guys, maybe this is really obvious but I am stumped. When slicing a sample the edit menu sometimes shows ‘add slice here’ if no slice is actively selected. My problem is sometimes it seems like there is no way to ‘select nothing’ and insert a new slice point at the cursor.
For example, say you start by creating a slice grid and then going through and tweaking each slice. you then decide you want another slice somewhere …how do you insert without having to delete an existing slice?
I think the manual mentions a maximum slice number of 64. Maybe you are creating a grid of 64 slices and trying to add additional slices beyond that number?
You can’t create slices directly into slices iirc.
I think you just have to move some start or end points to make a little space and create your new slice there. Then move all start and end points to where you want them.
Thanks guys I think what JSZ suggests is the only way since I see this even with <64 slices. Oh well, one more for the wish list on this sweet machine!
