As for a drum machine it would probably be handy to have a quick way to do triplets and the like. I assume this is possible to some extent with the [Retrig] function.
But is this enough? As one could think, that accents and p-locks on individual triplets are somewhat essential it would be more natural to use individual time multipliers in advanced mode like on the OT. E.g. set the hats to triplets and just enter the notes in grid mode.
I really hope elektron is considering this feature, as I also hope that one time this will be available on the A4 as I greatly miss slower time scales to make longer harmonic progressions.
Any thoughts on that?
Any (un)official intel on it? (Dataline: hint hint)
I personally hope for the same, will see how things pan out in the future
I’m frankly amazed at the omission of this in all of the other machines. It’s such a valuable AND requested addition. It seems essential on the AR at least. I wonder what the difference could be from the OT to not have this feature.
This is one of my first wishes for A4 and Rytm as well.
Absolutely, I know I keep nagging about this, but it would make composing on the analog machines feature complete to me.
Right now on the A4 I get around this with the arp, but then you loose the capability of p-locking individual notes.
I really hope this will come sooner than later and won’t be postponed with or even after the overbridge upgrade. To me it’s much more essential because it’s about core-composition and not just technical bells ‘n’ whistles.
I never thought the products beyond the OT would step backwards here, particularly a drum machine. If they are going to do it, they might as well do it better than the OT. I always wished for more value choices for the tempo multipliers.
Individual track tempos, scene and performance mode assignable.
