There are dents above the screen i noticed it on the other ot I had to return too
It looks like screws to hold the screen are too long or something
Is this common or a defect?
Both… sorta – semi-common defect, haha. I believe it’s been covered as something from the sheet metal fabrication for the enclosure. The way the machine stamps and cuts the opening for the screen leaves those dimples / bumps on the face. I think mine has it too. I believe it’s purely cosmetic, so it doesn’t bother me. I recall reading here that Elektron will warranty your unit for those bumps. Maybe open a ticket with them and see what the say.

Yeah doesn’t bother me too much, might not worry about it if it’s not just my unit.
Kinda ruins the look a bit. but whatever, wouldn’t bother returning it for that.
