Incoming directory

Hi

I loaded samples to the Incoming Directory where I have crreated some subgroups. The samples are there and I can load them to my sound pool of the active project, no problem.
But I would like to be able to preview(listen) to the samples from the sound browser or manager. Also I can´t find the Incoming samples in the sample banks A-H, so maybe there´s a part of the problem.
Could anybody please share some knowledge here.

btw will the pads get better(softer/easier to play) the more you play them, they seems a little stiff.

Well for starters, no, sample preview from sound manager is not possible. Next, this is not an sp-404 (not that I wouldn’t mind a few similarities as the sp-404 is still the most fun to use after all the others but I digress…) so there is no sample bank A-H. There are kits though, 128 of them per project. Keep in mind there are only 128 sample slots that can be added to these kits and a max ram size of about 4 mins. You could technically have more than 128 samples in the sample bank but that requires a search “sample chains” is yo friend

Here’s a hint. Go to synth page turn that volume all the way down. Go to sample page, turn the volume up. Choose a sample. You can preview by pressing the track pad while scrolling. When you find a sample you like press yes.

I do know about sample chains and synth/sample page volume it´s all good. Don´t know the SP404 but hope that it will be possible to pre listen the factory/incoming samples in the future.

Then why would you think there is a group of sample banks?

I mean everyone has had the rytm now for about the same time, which is around a month or two. Other than dataline, who would know?

No, I just got back from a tour and have the time to play with the AR, so that´s why I asked. Thanks for clearing up my sample banks confusion though.
