hey there!
i unintentionally deleted all my performance settings (only one pad) and i wanted to know if its possible to import, or to restore the settings from the saved project? i really want the old settings but i dont want to loose all the other things i have done since saved last time
is there any way?
thx in advance
performance settings are part of a kit, so if you save a project it may not save those settings unless you explicitly saved the kit first
if you want to copy individual parts of a kit to another just make sure both are loaded in the same project and then use the copy / paste buffers between the two
e.g. for copying a part of a sound you press Page+Copy, say e.g, LFO+Rec
then switch to the other Kit and paste in the corresponding place (for compatible instrument) e.g. Page+Paste and so on
The individual way to copy part chunks of a kit can vary, so investigate the manual for the way to copy/paste
You can’t copy bigger groupings of settings i.e. all performance settings, these would have to be done at a lower level
It may be easier to copy a kit across and replace sounds (if they differ) whilst retaining all the original performance settings (if that’s what you want) …either way it’s about working with copy/paste at whichever level makes most sense - but save out what’s important first, so you can always return to try again if you have finger trouble

thx a lot!
but then its interesting: i didnt saved the kit before i saved it all as a project, but it remembers everything including performance settings.
i guess i shouldnt have saved it as a project in the first place, but the kit and the pattern, because at the moment it is only one pattern actually. with one kit and loads of performance mode and scene mode settings.(my goal is to see how long im able to play with only one pattern and kit)
right?
