I have a Virus TI2 and am a bit worried that they will sound too similar, anyone with both have any thoughts?
I also have an A4 and Maschine so maybe i’ll have to wait for the next Elektron box!!! (I don’t think RYTM will add that much to what I have)
Anyone have any ideas, I think I need a new toy, but can’t decide what to get.
P.S. I’m happy with a hybrid setup, and don’t plan to play live.
I have Virus C and MnM. They don’t have the same sound at all. So this would not be a problem to join Mono to Access.
But your second point change the discussion.
There is a lot of gear suggestion to do. It depend on what kind of toy you want ?
synth, drum machine, sequencer…
In view to stay with mono discussion, we can say that this “toys” will be very fun and can be a good companion for your virus.
There’s a forum member on here who goes by Acemonvw, and he has a VirusTI2, and TWO Monomachines! His music is awesome, and he’s a super nice dude too, so I bet if you sent him a message, he’d be happy to share his insights.

Another +1 for the VirusTI and Monomachine. They really do compliment each other beautifully. Sadly I haven’t been giving my TI much attention lately. My Monomachine and Machinedrum combo have been more than enough to keep me happy. But, it’s always there to thicken things up in a pinch.
Prefer to trade for an A4 plus cash, but selling my minty MNM SFX60+ MKII, so I can buy an A4…
