It’s Swedish rhythm. You wouldn’t understand.

A lot of really high grossing English language pop music like Britney Spears etc was written by Swedish musicians and at least some of it recorded in Sweden, so beyond Swedish recording artists I tend to associate that aspect of the music industry with Sweden as well.

Actually Max Martin wrote hit me baby one more time and he’s a pretty prominent Swede also, I guess.

To the original question, for strong-genre-associated boutique brands with a technical and design flair, I’d say Strandberg, or for amps (permitting a read as Fender and Marshall), Mesa Boogie…

Yes the Swedes have been very lucky geographically. As you can see all the talent flows directly into their welcoming harbors

I think if Moog is Gibson, then Arp or Oberheim is Fender, Roland is Ibanez, Yamaha is Yamaha, Elektron is Hagstrom.

Moog is not Gibson for a start:

funny!

that is so sad and it gets brutal, like ren and stympy brutal

no feedback on my quick take on the swedish groove?
if you watch the gibson crushing video with this as the soundtrack it makes a difference!

Moog will be Moog.

Too bad they never made left handed versions.
