Workforce inclusiveness and openness being fairly ingrained in the culture probably counts for something industry wise, not just with music gear. There’s two car brands of old, truck/bus brands, their own fighter aircraft brand, etc

then some early inspiration and good community building might’ve done a lot for the music part of your question. Along with music being taught early on in schools

I often hear the Swedish language described as musical or melodic, it may be as simple as that adding a third dimension to the relation of tonality to expressiveness makes music like a second language. I’ve never done any investigation of Swedish phonics against the practical application of music theory but there may be some naturally occurring relationship.
