Ideal number of factory sequences

Am I alone in thinking some synths come with too many factory sequences? I feel 2 or 3 is enough to feature the product. Having to delete them or if not having them take up memory. Or the factory sequences starting up because you started your drum machine or Octatrack. Sometimes I forget which ones are mine as they get mixed in.

I have no issue - I just load a blank project after I’ve tried the factory sequences. There could be thousands for all I care.

However many it takes to demonstrate the capabilities of the device. There is another use for these factory sequences. You can delete the notes and use the collection of sounds along with the mix as a template.

I don’t think I’ve ever willingly played a single factory sequence.
