Have mercy on me - please

I need hardware and software help with connecting the iConn Midi 4+ to iPad (without Computer)

I have iPad connected to Port 1 (on front iConn))
Mdi 1 Front iConn) to Okta Dins In and Out
USB on iConn (far right looking from front) to Okta USB - is that correct?

Also how do I patch in Audio Patchbay (iConfig)?

Any help greatly appreciated!

That’s good.

I don’t think that this connection will do anything. It appears to be for MIDI over USB, which Octatrack does not support.

What are you trying to do?

Maybe forum member @Josh_iConnectivity can come here to offer some guidance.

you have the io set with the din midi in and out to octa and the ipad connected to the iconnectivity box. The rest is up to software routing. I’d contact iConnectivity for more assistance on that, or maybe check if youtube tutorials exist?

You’re trolling, bud.

EDIT: sorry, that was probably unhelpful if you are genuinely new. The Octatrack is so powerful that you should be sampling your iPad apps rather than sequencing the other way around. It will take you a week to learn Octatrack then you won’t look back.

I think i gave you the wrong impression of what i want to do with the Okta. I have been sampling for 6 months and now want to expand the Oktas capabilities by mixing it up mix with some midi stuff. I see and use the Okta primarily as a sampler - duh!
