Dogma, nothing i would like more than to do the Octatrack version. Problem is i don’t own one
Ill update the A4 version next then will look into the OT when i have enough Cash to buy one.

Shame I can’t find the original PDF anywhere, thanks to a recent burglary I have no apple devices! But I look forward to getting the book at some point!

Time for a big dog and some security measures as well as motion activated hidden video camera–pretty cheap these days. There’s an App that will allow you to remotely totally lock down an iPad if stolen or better yet even track when and where it is being used, it pings and police can track it right down. At the University, students have had their devices that were stolen recovered this method pretty effortless. FYI. BIG dog, bear traps, poison arrow darts…anything to protect and defend against would be thieves of musical gear is warranted here. There’s now even biometric high security door locks…and be mindful of whom you let into your studio to see your gear or even telling people what you have. HUGE % of music gear theft is by someone you know.

That escalated quickly.
Anyways I just want to point out that this thinking is flawed. My neighbor has two big dogs and a security system.
Got robbed, and the guy just shot both of his dogs, was in and out before the police arrived. Pretty sad.
Point is: shitty things happen to good people, no matter how you attempt to prevent it.

Bloody hell. Really hope your buddy is ok

My flat is at the basement round the back of the building, so it was a perfect place to burgle it seems (even though I live in a nice area)
They must have been opportunistic as they took all my apple stuff (Ipad, phone and two computers) but left all the recording/synth stuff (thank god)
As much as it sucks I’m trying to be zen about it. One upside is that it’s forced me just to use my elektron boxes and hardware again, that’s really helped me in terms of thinking about synthesis and how I compose music in general, including playing future gigs without a laptop.

I just got this. Only available for iPad. Sucks since I wanted to actually read it on my iPhone!

Still, it’s worth the price of admission. It won’t bring any new revelations but its ease of reading and quick access is better than the HQ manual.

If you’re on the fence, it’s worth a starbucks or a beer.

I appreciate the cookbook and did purchase. A step by step guide would be a huge addition to this book and bring lots more sales. Cuckoo does a video and gets thousands of hits. There is a whole world of new users for the A4 and Keys that need help getting started and don’t find the manual that useful.

I bought the A4 Cookbook yesterday and for the better part was happy with it. My only thoughts were why did you use the horrible font that was in the manual, I’m sure it could be formatted a bit better AND I thought I went deaf when I played the videos. I’d be happy to lose some memory space on my iPad to have some audio of instructions.

Unlike others I thought the price was fine, if it is more manageable than the real manual, I’m happy.

That being said, i think I’ve misplaced my getting started manual, the contents aren’t exactly reproduced in the user manual. Is the getting started booklet available as a pdf somewhere?

Also, do your cookbooks for the Maschine Studio and the OP-1 have videos with sound?

Love the “Cookbook” but…will there be any updates to this in order to be more detailed on poly configurations and saving these as well as Kit/Project/Sounds Saving in association with Poly Configurations?
Basically, in order to not be fighting the A4’s automatic saving and applying such things to all else…very confusing for those not new to “Elektron Way” but not new to synthesis.
