Looking forward to the day when there’s a Cool Doug Love Digitakt pak, makes me wish I had an MPC to load it up into and check it out with! Your samples are always choice man, really mean that.

I’ve been on Crete for ten days. Vacation officially, obviously actually an opportunity to make music.
Yesterday while listening to a track I’ve been working on, while the sun slowly went down, with my feet in the water – I heard the waves alongside my music. And I thought: that fits so perfectly, I need to add ocean waves for this track! And: damn, I don’t have any proper equipment for field recording.
So today in the morning I googled, and found loads of wave sounds, yet at inproportional costs. Then I looked for sound fx here, finding this post. So I open that link, and there’s a sound pack “sounds of Crete”, which contains exactly what I wanted. (I actually ended up buying another pack there just so there was SOME money going to the generous monsieur hosting these packs)
I call it: “the universe waving hello”. Others call it synchronicities. I once read that whenever you pursue what’s right for you, synchronicities will happen. That’s how you can know that you’re on the right track.

That’s fantastic, I’m so glad. These sound packs are really quite good, I’m glad someone was able to use the link. There are genuine recordings of some great natural drum and percussion sounds on there among other things which have come in handy for me. Also, enjoy your trip and your music making!
