You just lack a sampler with a decent polyphony.
I have done an interesting thing with my DT. I only use it with my DAW (now). Which I have been slowly learning. The Elektron flow is familiar so it’s a nice fall back while I learn new stuff.
Otherwise, for a live show I don’t see the benefit considering the AR is pretty much a DT on steroids.
The answer is: whatever makes you happy.
Even if you don’t know what makes you happy…
Bonne chance!
EDIT: Woosh
Haha. It was a joke/rickroll about the amount of threads comparing the different Elektrons at the moment. But thank you for considering my made-up first world problem
Yea I edited with woosh because I realized after the post… but my statement still stands!
Whatever makes you happy, even if you don’t know what that is!
Bless you
elektron are like pokemon… you gotta get 2 of each type so you can breed them
I am happy that my perform setup is OT/MS/MC while my studio setup has OB with DT/AR/A4…
Digitakt was my gateway drug.
I blame everybody on this forum.
Every single one of you
I mean, how else do you plan to p-lock MIDI program change to your external synth?
I just ordered a M:S and wonder what I’m doing. So, I have the OT, 1010 BlackBox and a M:S in route. I feel some serious “I have everything” sampler guilt. Reading the M:S opinion thread, wondering what I’m getting into. I really loved the addition on my BlackBox, cuz it’s so freaking easy and fun. Hoping for more of that with the M:S.
One can never have too many samplers.
You should sample nothing but first world problems on it…and only use it to playback tracks made with samples of first world complainants…
Only then should you be allowed another sampler…
Shouldn’t have bought that boat!
