Did anyone on here order this? They’ve apparently sent out 70% of the orders now. Judging by the trailer, it’s going to be one hell of a synth-nerd wankfest! Oh, yeah.

Yep! Even though I hate wires personally, and will never get into modular for that reason, I still wanted to see what all the fuss was about. And the previews looked good, as in “entertaining for synth nerds in general”.

Haven’t received mine yet though.

Yep, Ordered the blu-ray version in an effort to finally convince myself to get a blu-ray player. My copy hasn’t shown up yet, though.

I just hope it doesn’t end up feeling like I just watched a four hour infomercial and brainwashing seminar and feel compelled to jump into a modular system.

Haha, yeah, did you see the trailer? That was pretty much a brainwashing infomercial in itself. I’m a bit scared of watching this movie because of that. But let’s face it, if we’re going to do this hobby for the rest of our lives, we’re bound to end up with some sort of modular system sooner or later, right? Hehe.

Waiting on my bluray. Going to have a screening with our synth club in Atlanta that I run. Guaranteed to make me hop off the fence. Been looking at cases for about a year now, but “afraid” to take that plunge. Total fucking money pit.

I wouldn’t worry about IDOW not being delivered, Jason Amm is a well known musician - they just ran into a lot of logistical stuff by the sounds of it. This way, it will make great fall viewing…

A couple of modular heads I know in Baltimore received theirs as well. One was raving about the packaging, looks quite nice from the photos he posted.
