Yeah.
As Elektron does not seem to Update MK2 anymore its time to wish for MK3. And It better be the beast of all beasts. What could compete in times of Push 3?
Sampling
Analog Machines
Digital Machines
12 Track
6 good Pads
Small Formfactor not those new Flagship bulky big ships…more so old octatrack form.
New sequencer with more options for experiments.
hopefully they’ll change their sales tactics and make a device where you don’t have to do without certain settings, while another elektron can. e.g. cc control.
stereo samples with DT-like machines, stretch etc., BW filter, smooth START/END controls, zero crosspoints for smooth loops
extendable drive, maybe CF card like OT?
assignable ADSR envelopes with at least 4 param matrix
more lfos per track obviously
choke tracks optional
track layering (as in DN/TR-6S etc.)
hopefully unlimited parameters to use with p-locks
better DVCO - as in square wave plz
personally I love the form factor, my DN feels too small after AR, at first I was also “this is too big” but it grew on me and now I wish DN was bigger
Give me real-time access to swap between 2 or 4 kits with dedicated buttons. While using Kit A in live record mode, hold the button for Kit B and now you can record trigs from that kit without having to program p-locks. Make it like the DN chiclet track buttons
As far as software, I’d clearly love to see the DT sampling machines in a future Rytm. If digital machines are on the table, I’d like to see a chord machine similar to ST. Or dare to dream, an analog chord machine that used the cymbal/hats oscillators.
