I have an Ak, i like the possibilities and the sound, but dont like the size. (Not very good for hanging on my couch)… so maybe i will go back to an a4.
But… when i use the Keys of the AK, the pressure i use influences the sound that comes from it. The A4 only has these button style Keys.
Can i have this variations on the Keys too? Is there a parameter for this?
(Sorry for the noob Q, but this pressure helps me a lot to get the sound i like)
There’s no aftertouch on the A4 without an external MIDI keyboard, but you can map velocity to modulation, which could achieve a similar effect, although not identical.
Tnx for the quick response.
I dont want the aftertouch… its nice but not what i want to ask…
So there is a velocity that i can p-lock?
I thought velocity is only to make it possible to have pressure variations on the Keys, not to p lock
I will try with my keys… (not now, i am on holiday, only brought my ot, also cause if the size)
You can p-lock velocity in the Note menu for any step, no problem.
But if you go to the Sound settings you can also map velocity to modulate any p-lockable parameter. So, for example, the higher the velocity, the more the filter opens, or the greater the depth of an LFO, or… whatever you fancy.
