Hey all - OT newb here, still working on understanding it and fitting it to my use cases.
One thing I’ve been wanting for a while is a Red Sound Soundbite, just to be able to quickly grab beat synced loops of my main mixer output on the fly which can then be dynamically performed with various loop/beat lengths with dedicated physical controls. Not my OT main out, but the mixer that my OT and other synths are all going into.
This seems like something the OT can do, but since I’ve never owned a Soundbite, I’m not sure if there are gaps in how the OT would do it, or exactly how to implement it on the OT.
If you have used a Soundbite before, would it simply be a matter of setting up a track to listen to the audio in and setting up a record trig with a fixed length? How would I then adjust the loop length on the fly? Or would it be better to do this as a scene? Or some other way?
One other thing is I’m going to be mapping my LaunchPad Pro to the OT, so I’m wondering if maybe I could just setup some padsd on the LP to replicate the buttons on the SoundBite, once I’ve setup the OT to manipulate the sound similarly.
