How to save a kit to a specific pattern?

Hi guys,

I’m pretty sure this is a dumb question for experienced users of elektron stuff, but I just got my analog keys, and this problem is driving me crazy right now:

How on earth can I save a kit to a pattern???

I wanna do this:

  1. I got pattern A1, kit 1 is loaded automatically
  2. I switch to pattern A2, load a completly different kit 2, save the kit 2 and pattern A2
  3. I switch to pattern A1, kit 1 is loaded
  4. I switch back to pattern A2, but again kit 1 is loaded

I wanna have kit 2, when I switch to pattern A2!! What am I not getting here?

I’ve searched the manual, but it’s not really helpful, when looking for a specific problem.

Please help!

You need to actually have at least on trig set “establishing” a pattern for the AK to recognize that it exists and to save a kit with it. Blank patterns will not keep the kits you loaded saved to them.
