How to play MIDI notes while sequencing

Hi everyone,

Hoping I can get some info to figure this out. I’m trying to sequence three devices via MIDI using the Octatrack, while using the SL MK3 to play each of these modules using its keys and features (zones, arp).

So far I’ve been able to either sequence everything but not hear anything when I use the SL MK3 to play notes. I’ve also been able to actually sequence and play everything by using the Octatrack and its MIDI channels to control each module, but I’m unable to play the synths using zones.

Any tips are greatly appreciated!

Welcome.

So you can’t play the 3 devices, I suppose you set the corresponding channels on them, OT and SL.

Firstly, audio tracks midi channels have to be different from midi tracks.
Modify or disable them in MIDI > CHANNELS. Otherwise incoming midi is blocked on these shared channels.
