Hello, I just got my digitakt today and I have been trying to set it up as the host to my Yamaha modx, I’m having trouble because I’m not sure which one is having the connection problem or what I would have to change. If anybody has had this set up or knows what to do I would appreciate the help.

What are you actually trying to do?
I’m trying to use the midi channels on the digitakt for sounds from the modx, I have it plugged in through midi and the channel is set but for some reason I don’t here the chords from the modx
On the Digitakt you need to ensure that:
In the SETTINGS > MIDI CONFIG > PORT CONFIG menu:
- OUT PORT FUNC is set to “MIDI”
- OUTPUT To is set to “MIDI”
MIDI channel number is set in the SRC page on the MIDI track.
The MIDI track is not muted.
If that doesn’t work, I will try to read the MODX manual.
