How to make a simple round bass sound?

Hi,

I love my A4 for many sounds it can make, but I can’t figure how to make a simple ‘round’ bass sound like with a sh-101 or better , a juno-60 or, a litllte mono lancet.

With theses synths I can make the sound I want in a few minutes, I’ve just spend the evening trying with the A4 :frowning:
Sometime, I’m closed to it but there’s always something wrong with the filters… or perhaps something else I’m missing.

Do you have any advices please ?

Thanks guys

Here’s a whole thread on making deep bass sounds on the A4. It can be done but it’s not as immediate as on some other synths.

Yes, I saw it, but I don’t think that’s the type of sound I’m looking for… I have to finish to read it and continue my search on the forum

can you post an example of the sound you’re trying to accomplish? If you find it easy to get your Roland sound out of Roland synths then perhaps you should use your Roland synths for those Roland sounds…

An audio example of the sounds you’re looking for together with a photo of that patch on your SH-101 or Juno 60 would be helpful.

If I try to reproduce them with the A4, it’s because the 60 is too big to travel, and my 101 is too fragile :frowning:

I can go with the mono lancet, but all in A4 would be great

I’ve found a sound which could be ok, but not enough powered, I’ll work on it !

^ that’s a great patch

Since I’m a bass player I ended up just adding a minitaur for most of my bass duties, the mono lancet produces some nice bass too though.
