How to loop specific steps/pages

Yes, you can set Length per Track. So you could have a track of 1 step, another of four steps, another of 64 steps, etc.

You cant have a 1 step track.
Maybe there is a way around using scale to double time a 2 step track.

Yes, maybe, but it’s not something you can actually play live…
I have to say that more than I’m going deep with DT and more I find his limitations very annoying. Also because you can find some of these features in very cheaper gears. Just think about these 3 simple things: 1- The one described above. 2. You can’t send a midi start message to the DT without a clock( it means that a common midi foot controller for example can’t start the DT because it doesn’t send a midi clock too). 3 It can’t Transpose…
I love it because you can create very complex drum patterns but…let’s say I expected a little bit more…

Here’s my suggestion to Elektron :

DOWN ARROW + PAGE = Loop Mode on the Current Page
UP ARROW + PAGE = Exit Loop Mode on the Current Page - Back to Global Loop
LEFT ARROW + PAGE = Loop Previous Page
RIGHT ARROW + PAGE = Loop Next Page

Still no page loop in Digitakt 2. Too bad because this is the only missing feature keeping me from buying one. It’s such a painful workflow compared to the TR-8S, where you can instantly loop any subset of pages.

EDIT: They did add it, yay!

will they ever do it for digitakt1?

it’s available on rytm so the functionality already exists on the older platform, but will it be implemented? who knows….

it would be a nice gift <3

Hooooooowwwww? Please explain :stuck_out_tongue:
