How to copy sound locks?

Thanks to this tread I’ve just figured I don’t use presets nor locks on my Model:Cycles (it’s so easy to dial sounds on this that I’ve never felt the need so far.

Now is time to explore this

Re: the sound locks: can’t you just copy the trigs (hold trig + copy) and paste them on the second pattern?

I think so, I’m fairly sure I’ve done that. But the OP was asking about a whole track, which, depending on track length, might take a long time with your suggestion.

So I want to COPY only track 1 of A1 pattern WITH THESE three sound locks to pattern A2!

Thanks to trying to reply to this thread I discovered the difference between preset locks and machine locks

Yes, you are right that the procedure I have found doesn’t solve the issue as I think it copies the sound of the entire track. I have found though interesting that the manual doesn’t describe that you can copy solely the sound preset across tracks (as explained by @pselodux in his thread).
