How’s the Techno scene in Los Angeles?

My buddy is in L.A. for a few days, are there any good Techno parties or clubs?

I haven’t lived there for a while. But maybe see where Truncate has played on Resident Advisor. He’s an Angeleno and absolute bawse.

Parties, yes. Clubs, no. Most of the techno stuff happens at underground venues that are warehouses during the day. There aren’t a ton of electronic clubs left here and those mostly cater to more commercial house and hip hop than techno. I’d check Resident Advisor for full listings as they are still pretty on top of events here.

Thank you for your input, yeah I noticed that on RA with the events held in L.A. it’s always TBA and “location will be emailed to ticket holders”

My buddy will be back in Europe in a couple of weeks so I told him he’ll have a better chance of finding proper techno parties there.
