Hello. Technical question here . I have some sounds in sylenth that i want to replicate / copy into the Analog four and there is a parameter called “voices” . I have a picture attached here where you can see it. Do you know where is the “voices” parameter in Analog four or something similar ? Thanks very much.
buy a second one…
sorry hehe… but the a4 is a 4 voice monophonic synth…means for each part/track only one voice…for now the actual firmware doesn’t allow to play it as a 4 voice polysynth…if it would…you would definitely need a second one to have 8 voices…thats how it is
Here is a video where i show a conversion / replication of Deadmouse bass from “Strobe” track to the analog four with saw waves. I tried to get 4 voices like in sylenth (8 voices) but its hard to replicate. Note that im using the 4 tracks in the analog four with the same saw waveform . Track 1 and track 2 are each one with 2 saw waveform voices in each oscillator , so we have 2 voices in track 1 and 2 voices in track 2 . So, we have 4 voices in track 1 and 2 . Track 3 and track 4 are the same but in lower octave ( to create the bass). We could say that we have 8 saw waveforms voices at same time . Hope you enjoy :
Shared sysex files (use c6 software from eleketron) to transfer to your a4 :

Cracked sylenth
I think you are messing up oscillators with voices…for sure you can fake chords by detuning oscillators…but thats not the same like using real voices on polysynths.
thanks you . You are right.
