Hi, I had my OT shipped to Sweden (from Finland) as the warranty was running out and I had the crackly headphone out issue. It’s been over a month and I haven’t heard anything from them. Can somebody confirm that this is normal? I didn’t want to email them directly because they say on the website they are busy… still seems like an awful long wait.
The good thing is that I haven’t really missed it and have gotten to know the MD better.
waiting: 1 month or longer is likely, you should not be worried (had a similar waiting time) … the important thing is (imho) when it comes back and it will, it will run in all its advertised awesomeness …
OT out the house, getting into depths with MD (or whatever hangs around) … yepp! same experience here (right now without the A4, OT getting more attention)
Wierd.
I handed in my OT to my local music store (in Denmark) right before New Years. They shipped it to Elektron January 2nd and I had it back repaired January 23rd.

The reply time for support cases here at the HQ is back to normal after a very intense year. The workshop unfortunately still has a cue, same for the support and workshop in LA.

I recently had an issue. Support arranged to have the machine collected, took about a week to look at it and returned it to the UK.
Fantastic Service. Things are looking up. Great communication throughout as well with several messages keeping me updated.

It was handled by Verkkokauppa.com which is the place of purchase, if that makes a difference. I did give them all my contact info of course and was told they would pass it on to you guys. Thanks a lot for the response, I’ll try to create the support case tonight.
A4 almost back, replaced some motherboard inside, shipped from Germany to Sweden, less than 3 weeks! … couldnt be happier!
Ok I think I created a support case. I didn’t get any confirmation email about it though but maybe I wasn’t supposed to.
To close this case:
The OT was handed over to Verkkokauppa.com on Dec 18th. Elektron (who answered very quickly) received it on Jan 20th so it seems like the post office (or Verkkokauppa if they were slow to send it but I doubt) is to blame. I just got a message from Verkkokauppa that the unit is available for pick up.
So Elektron nice job, post office (or Verkkokauppa) not so nice.
