Hi all and merry x-mas. What is the easiest way to record a live jam or tutorial/tips video with audio direct from audio interface? I have a gopro but maybe a webcam would be better to just the video straight in to imovie or whatever and thake audio from the audio interface.
How do you do it?
i record stereo into ableton… if I record with my mobile phone, I throw the video file into ableton 9 as well and syncronize them, then export as video
Straight into a zoomQ3HD…
it was the easiest/cheapest field-recorder/video-camera with line-in input.
plug your favourite toy in… press record… do your jam… and upload it to youtube. done…
in the case I want fancy post-recording-processing… (fancy way of saying larding it with vst’s and trim the file-length and such) I drop the recording in reaper. this also proofed a good method to bundle the nicest recordings into a small ep… to put on bandcamp and or soundcloud.
I am not saying this is THE method for everybody. but for ME, it works like a charm…
