kind of reminds of the interview on sonic state when they said that you don’t need to see the waveforms when slicing samples from the sample pool because ‘that’s what an octatrack is supposed to do.’

Some of these omissions are glaringly nonlogical, even given how logical the boxes are supposed to be. But I guess engineers gonna engineer.
