How do you approach the accent feature?

It just occurred to me that I probably need to incorporate this feature of the Elektron boxes into my workflow, but I’m having trouble wrapping my head around it for some reason…

How do you approach it? And are there more or less “traditional” accent steps that people tend to use, say in electro-based genres?

Its useful for a lot of things. Just try it out, it’ll liven up your composition. I don’t think anyone can tell you this you just have to try.

Think 303 basslines; the accent is what makes them really come to life.

I was wondering the same thing the other day when reading the manual. The Accent affects velocity of a note and this in turn can be modulated by an LFO. I am just trying to think of a good application, sure there is one.
The accent on the 303 worked nicely because I think it also affected the EG.
