The sample I’m working with is a 64 step long vocal sample. Been trying with square wave lfo modulation, it works in free mode, but then the timing goes off and the pitch change doesn’t happen at the beginning of the sample when the note is triggered. And with square wave, it retriggers the square wave so it never goes to the opposite note.
I was trying to do the same thing with an arp sequence on the analog 4 and also couldn’t figure it out.
Not sure if this works on the OT but on DT set the condition of the first step to 1:2 then set the second step to 2:2 and with microtiming you can put it on the first step!
tried it and doesn’t work, because the LFO is retriggered on the first step. Had speed of 16 which I believe would be the 64 step duration. So it never bounces to the other note.
Okay sweet that works. BOMB. I tried micro timing 3 trigs for a total of 4, to try and do longer alterations, but trig 3 and 4 are too delayed… Theres no way to play one note twice in a row (total 128 steps) and then a different note twice (also 128 steps)?
Put in a step.
Put in an alternative step after it, move the microtiming all the way to the first step.
Put a third step one step before the first step. Microtiming all the way towards the first step.
Two of the three steps set to x/4. For example 2/4 and 4/4x
One step set to x/2. For example 1/2.
